People who say blood is thicker than water grew up in a home that was very close.
For me, and even my hubby, it's not like that. We can *not* rely on our family members.
Maybe that's how we found each other. We rather be with each other with our kids. Overall, our family members disappoint us.
When there are get togethers for "family" events, it seems forced or fake. There are no depth emotions, just something that we *must* and *have* to do.
This Thanksgiving, I'm just thankful to have found my soulmate, my hubby, and is blessed to have two wonderful children with him.
