I'm back????

Wow, I started this blog back in May 2012 and never came back to update!!!!

I haven’t blogged in forever!!!!!

None at all in 2012.....

I thank those who still come to my blog and have supported me.

Here is the rundown with has gone down with me.

I started a new job in December 2011 at an Accounting firm. I am very, very grateful to get this job because I had no experience in Accounting at all. My job background has been imagining, banking, and payroll. I thank God every day that I was given this opportunity. The people around me are so positive and I love my job. Being in an Accounting firm, I was working crazy hours for Tax season. Now it’s October 2012, and the atomosphere is very chilled and relax. I have three monitors at work!

I can focus again and be a bit more carefree.

However, I seem to always stress about money. I have so much debt that I have to be careful of what to spend.

Movies and music are still my passion. I still watch many movies, mostly whatever is on Netflix but am too lazy to blog about it. I do tweet a lot about it though. So follow me on Twitter for that. But be warn, I tweet a lot about randomness.

But my #1 concern right now is being healthy. I've been religiously working out, almost every day. I’ve always taken vitamin pills and have been for the past few years. Everyone thinks I’m 20-30 lbs lighter than I actually weigh. People tell me muscles weigh more than fat. Not true. Muscles just take up less room than fat. For example, fat is a balloon, muscle is a pebble, 50 pebbles will fill up that one balloon.

I have a goal for myself to actually run a 5k. In the past, I’ve always jog, walk, jog, walk, but never run a 5k all the way.

In August 2012, I went to the doctor and found out I had an enlarge nodule on my left neck, measuring around .8 mm with .1 of it being solid. Since then, I've had an ultrasound and a c-scan. Nothing is cancerous. At first I was worried but a handful of people told me not to worry to much. A few friends who are health conscious suggested me to watch my food intake to see if that helps.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention on Wednesday, January 25th, yeah, I remember the date, I sprain my ankle, badly, really bad. Picture below. Crazy, huh? The sprain ankle did help me make a health decision as well. I was on crutches for two weeks and it was tough! I actually lost 15 lbs cause I didn’t eat literally anything at all cause I was soooo tired. You know what the funny thing is? I never once have gone to the doctor about this sprain ankle.

It took 7 months for me to actually heal, it was a long process. I do not need to wear my ankle brace anymore. I can finally balance on it but not for a long time but I'm challenging myself to do it.

Zumba is my world, I do it twice a week and if I am bored, I do it at home. I schedule my activities around Zumba...seriously. Right now, I'm also kickboxing and belly dance...and still climb Stone Mountain.
